"Viking Motel is a great place to stay when visiting Ventura. Their cleanliness is unique in motels. Soft and very comfortable bedding made me sleep like a baby after long drive. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Huge plus is that full kitchen and fridge w/freezer. This is a perfect spot for families with kids too since their rooms are spacious. "

"this place is very very charming however we had some slight issues- we believed there was mold. A few of us had some breathing issues when we arrived. It felt better once opening all of the windows but not ideal. Also, I got terrible chigger bites from the yard (but no one else in the group did). So- if you keep all of the windows open, yet wear a ton of bug spray- you'll be ok. Amazing location. "
