Everything was perfect!!

Is an expensive rental , then we suppose to have : shampoo , conditioner, enough soaps , towel and toilet paper , map with local attractions , recommendations for food etc etc . Great location , beautiful views . Beach chairs and umbrellas were provided inside de unit

Only recommendation is for Majestic Sun itself. The resort itself needs more umbrellas in the pool area! 4 umbrellas when its 95+ degrees out is not enough, especially when people save them all day.

Moreover, it was such a pleasure and relief to work with Priscilla, as we were having challenges with our previous rental. She worked two get us in to this condo, promptly and even waved some fees. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

Reviewer Comments: I really loved this unit, it had everything we needed and more, The views and location were just what I wanted, I wanted to wake up looking and listening to ocean and I got just what I needed. The master bedroom was big and the bed was very comfortable, I think my family liked the the other bedroom as well, I liked that were tv's in every room. The only thing is the sleeper sofa was not very comfortable or sturdy but most aren't to be fair, we made it work. Thank you for supplying all the beach things we needed. Just a suggestion for us that fly in maybe a couple big beach towels to use would be nice.

unit was nice , but the property descripition said beachfront when it was not .The property was beach access a very big difference .I would not have reserved the unit if I knew it was not on the water.. Extremely misleading add and very disappointing.

Reviewer Comments: Very nice condo and the view would be nice if we didn’t have people in front of our balcony working on the deck next to us. Part of the reason we booked this condo is for the view but it has been nearly impossible to sit in the deck and enjoy it as they are out there cutting steel and standing right in our view. It would have been nice to know about this in advance so we could have possibly switched condos. I emailed 3 times and did not receive a response...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a great time in room A605. The view of the ocean is unbeatable. We bring our family to the Destin area every summer but this is our first time in the Majestic Sun. We really did not have any major complaints at all. The walls were a bit thin, our neighbors always let the door slam so that was a bit annoying. We had a few issues in the condo, a curtain rod was broken, a lamp was broke where the bulb sits and our umbrella was rusted and falling apart. the management group took care of all those issues in a matter of hours. The gym had no A/C most of the week but it was being repaired on a final day. The pool is a bit smaller than photos may suggest, but no big deal.A heads up, there is no ramp to roll your cart down to the beach. You have to carry it up and down the stairs, there are three levels to the stairs.It was nice having a beach shop at the bottom of the building. We could get all the shirts and beach supplies for the kids. A gas station is within a 10 minute walk. We went there often.All in all it was a good week at the Majestic Sun.

Destin Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation in Destin. The view from the Condo was wonderful and location was convenient. There was 3 beach chairs and an umbrella you could use, but we enjoyed using the beach service( if you want to be on the first row make your reservations with LDV beach service early). Pros: *Proximity to beach *Location *Covered parking *Beds were comfortable and had plenty pillows/covers *Walking distance to restaurant, coffee shop, convenience store and Alvin's Island * Grocery store (Winn Dixie nearby) * Condo was clean *Nice patio furniture to enjoy morning coffee or people watch Cons: *People smoking on balconies * I had to go buy a skillet and pot because the kitchen is not stocked well. It was surprising how little pots/pans present. There wasn't even a toaster. *Patio was covered in sand and if you walked out barefooted, the bottom of your feet were black *The road you have to cross to get to the beach was very busy. Crosswalks are not lit at night so you have to cross very carefully. * Pool is small and has very limited loungers * Never saw bbq pits or grills so if you plan on grilling you should verify availability Overall the Condo is very nice. The biggest complaint was the lack of appliances and cookware. If you don't intend on cooking, this condo is great!

Great Location and Clean!

This condo had all of our needs: coffee maker, pots, pans, and even a Keurig!! The view was picture perfect and you can hear the ocean waves loud and clear! Easy access to parking, restaurants, bars, pool, and walking path! All at your fingertips for a relaxing Florida getaway!

Great time at Majestic Sun A605

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As Snowbirds, we sat on the Sundeck 10am at 55-60 degrees to suntan and were warmed by the sun, no wind up here. We walked across the street to Whale Tail for afternoon beer and shrimp, 1 building behind us for large economical lunches, 1 building to the east for 4th floor restaurant with a panoramic view of the beach. Winn Dixie is the only grocery we've found with a Tap room for beer and wine served, and grocery carts with a cup holder to shop and drink at the same time. There are just so many places to go within 15 minutes east or west to enjoy, and great day trips if you wish.

Great view of the ocean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean. The amenities were listed correctly. The managers got back to me timely for my questions. I arrived earlier than expected and was granted an hour early check in. We didn’t use the umbrella and chairs, instead we paid for set ups on the beach. We loved Whales Tail restaurant being within walking distance for any meal or drinks. Visited The Gulfarium, Airforce museum, and enjoyed the alligators at Fudpuckers and putt putt and go karts at The Track. Only complaint was the tub in the guest bath was draining very slowly and had to stand in 2” of water while showering. And a knob on the chest of drawers in the guest room was not attached and would come off when opening the drawer. Otherwise I would recommend 605A and would stay again.

Good place

The place is very good! I was worried because it looked smaller but it was pretty big! Staff members are very polite and friendly, it’s very close to the beach and a bar! Overall the place was great, in my opinion just ask for the sheets to be changed upon arrival, one of the rooms had sandy sheets and was a little uncomfortable but the place has a washer and dryer machine!
