The hotel felt like a boutique experience. It was quiet and clean. Being out in the jungle, there were a couple of bugs on our patio, but that is to be expected. We planned on exploring the island more but we ended up not wanting to leave the hotel. The food was five star! We ate better than we have in a long time. There are options for a five course meal at the restaurant (¥120000 person but worth it!) or you have have in room shabu-shabu, or ala cart room service or even a “convenience” store at the front desk with drinks and snacks. The staff was superb. Any request we had, they made it happen. Not all staff spoke English, but they always got us someone who could help us. I do recommend having a rental car if you stay here. The taxi ride isn’t too expensive (¥2110) but because the hotel is more secluded, it would be best to have your own transportation.
