“A lovely property in a very quiet location. We stayed here last year too and since then, plantation shutters have been added to all rooms. The master suite is huge and has a lovely bathroom. The room with the fireplace is very cosy and we used it a lot as it was very cold and raining during our stay. In warm weather there is a lovely verandah in the gardens. “#14 Sampson is a lovely house with all the character of the town but unfortunately it didn’t live up to our expectations & certainly didn’t come close to the “premier & exceptional” label its been given.Basic things which are so easily fixed: broken kitchen tap, leaky shower, coffee machine needs a service, broken lounge (a nuisance with limited seating) but mostly it all needs a really good clean. We did not get our moneys worth and wouldn’t recommend this property.”

“Great location - an excellent base for exploring the area. Communication from host was prompt and helpful.We had a wonderful stay for 5 nights. The beds were comfortable, the showers hot with good water pressure. We didn't really do any cooking because we visited with family and ate out a lot (and there are so many options for that in Orange!), but we enjoyed relaxing in the lounge areas after a big day, enjoying a local wine. Will definitely stay here again!”
