"The cabin was well appointed and had everything you could hope for. We’ve stayed at other cabins and by far this had the most. From kayaks, lily pad and nearby sandy beach, it was perfect. We had 3 boys under 4 with us and they had a great time as well. Liz was very responsive the few times we needed her. The dock was great for fishing off and docking the boat. The lake was nice and sandy and clear. As for nearby attractions Hayward has a lot. The freshwater fishing museum was a “can’t miss”"

"Beautiful view of the lake from house. Sandy, shallow lake for little ones! Kids had a great time on the kayaks and pedal boat. Everyone had a good time in the game room playing pool and foosball. "

"Beautiful property. Can't think of a thing the house didn't have readily available. Kids enjoyed fishing every day, and then spent all their cash at the bait shop and candy store in Hayward. The Fishing Hall of Fame and mini golf were great diversions when it was a little too windy for fishing or paddling. Excellent communication with the host throughout. Highly recommend this property for a wonderful lakeside retreat."

"Good communication and information provided by host prior to check-in. It is a very well cared for property in a beautiful, tranquil location. A doe and her two fawns visited every day. We made use of the games, kayaks, and fire pit. The only down side was we were traveling with a toddler under age 2 and the yard did not have a good play space. They needed to be contained to the deck areas. Something to consider if traveling with littles. There is an incline from the road to the cabin, and the cabin to the lake. Overall, this is a wonderful property and is perfect if you are looking for peace, serenity, and natural beauty. "
