"Apologies o thought I had already reviewed. This was an excellent property an beautifully kept. In a very central location. Julia was an A1 host and could not have been more helpful."

"The bedroom was a wonderful, quirky room; spotlessly clean with the worlds most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a great couple of nights sleep in this quiet room. Although my preference is a shower the bathroom had a large corner bath which was good. The only slight downside was the rather noisy macerator fitted on the wastewater. The breakfast choice was excellent. The food was freshly made and very tasty. We had an evening meal one night which was also excellent. The presentation and service for all the meals was perfect. The bar had a jolly atmosphere with a fine range of local ales and wines. It was attended by a mixture of local people and visitors. There is a limited range of free on-site parking which I was lucky enough to take advantage of. I would gladly stay here next time I'm in the area and I'd recommend The Woolpack to anyone looking for a good value and comfortable place to stay. "

"Staff were absolutely incredible. Dianna on reception was courteous, polite and ever so helpful. Thank you for making me feel like home during my stay. Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. The young bar staff were also very kind and welcoming. "
