Good Place

Very pleasant experience. Floor was a bit sandy when we arrived and the front room is not nearly as cool as bedroom, but the ceiling fan helps. Would still stay here again as location, price, and amenities were excellent.

What a Disappointment

The narrative about this property was filled with inaccurate statements about its conditions and what the amenities were inside the property. There was no dishwasher. There was no washer/dryer. There was no cable TV. On arrival, we discovered that 3 lightbulbs were burned out meaning that the living room was essentially dark except for an overhead fixture. We called the maintenance number about this upon check-in and left a message-no one called back. In addition, the property was really dirty. The walls have streaks, spots and gashes. The baseboards were dusty. The floors were sticky. The kitchen countertops were sticky. The bathroom had barely been cleaned after the last tenants. We spent time wiping down surfaces and areas. The upholstered furniture was filled with dust and was grimey. We didn’t ever sit on it because of that. The sheets and towels were clean. However the bedcover had spots on it. And something-a blanket perhaps-stuffed in the closet smelled like urine. The air conditioning: all the filters need changing as the AC smelled musty and like mildew. The AC in the living room was like a piece of furniture that was noisy and smelled. Overall, for the price we were charged and for what we received-the two could not be more different. We have stayed in many beach rentals over the years and this was by far the dirtiest and most disappointing. We feel duped and tricked by the advertising on VRBO. We will NEVER rent from VRBO again.

Girls' Trip

My daughters and I enjoyed our stay. It is a small place, but enough for the three of us. The walk to the beach was very short. There were not any sheets for the pullout couch, so I ran to Walmart and bought some. It was late when I realized there were not any sheets, so I did not want to call and bother the owners. I also used a sheet to cover the coach. The coach could use a cleaning, but the place was very clean. I love that they had plenty of towels for our stay since there is not a washing machine. I used the kitchen a great deal. It was helpful to be able to cook. The place is very cute. The beach area was not crowded at all! We enjoyed our stay!
