The hotel is in the heart of the town, with plenty of restaurants nearby, although the hotel restaurant is also excellent. Their breakfast buffet is one of the best ice ever had. "

"Beautiful older hotel- very well kept. Great view of the mountains from our balcony. Sat there relaxing enjoying a beer! Staff and breakfast were wonderful. Close walk to train station and Zugspitze Bahn. Has a pool sauna and steam room but we just stayed 2 nights so no time to use them but they looked excellent. We plan to come back next year and stay longer. We highly recommend Wittelsbacher Hof"

"The hotel was basic. There wasn’t shower gel or shampoo. The room was on a very busy street so sleep was not my friend. Also, the room was quite warm. I couldn’t adjust the temperature."
