"A perfect place in the north woods on a lake. Beautifully nestled near Tioga Recreation Area, and the Forest History Center. These were our activities. Something for everyone! Normally I do not like to stay in pet friendly places because I am not a dog owner, but this place was super clean, so much so that we played on the floor with our 2 1/2 year old and did not pick up any pet hair. The bedrooms were super cozy and the kitchen well stocked with pots and pans for light cooking. The fire pit was perfect for our marshmallow melting smores making evening. The family room was comfortable and an easy gathering space for a later evening movie. "

"Everything was fantastic, except the bed. Bed was extremely firm, was like sleeping on plywood. The service, cleanliness and all that were absolutely great though so I will still make sure its a 5 star "

"The beds were very comfortable, with good pillows. The desk staff were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast featured a variety of items (sandwiches, fruit, waffles, cereal, pastries, and ESPECIALLY biscuits & sausage gravy -- so good!!) Unfortunately, the ice machine was broken, but the desk staff filled my travel mug for me from the kitchen. Good stay!"

"Manager was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. Even though the room was very small and very close to other rooms, there was no real noise. They were sold out, so all of the rooms were full, but I was not bothered by other guests. I enjoyed my stay!"

"What a beautiful spot! I couldn’t get enough of sitting in the screened-in porch and watching the fall leaves, the lake, and the birds. The stay was incredibly peaceful and quiet. The cabin had everything we needed, including delicious Fika coffee to enhance the porch-sitting. The sauna heated up quickly and was the perfect way to start the day. Sunsets from the beach chairs were magnificent. The cozy living room was the perfect spot to play some evening board games. Our only regret was that we didn’t book it for long enough. Next time we will stay longer!"

"The yurt was great. Very clean, super cozy and cute with all the amenities of home, including lots of added touches -- welcome basket, smores kit and fire kit ready to go, and a cart to haul our belongings. The property was well marked and easy to find. Would definitely go back again "
