Christmas Time Getaway

We had a wonderful stay the weekend after Christmas. The home had absolutely everything we needed and was both comfortable and beautiful! Everything was clearly labeled and so easy settle in. Very close to the beach which was awesome to visit even in the winter!

Perfect Ocean Getaway

We were looking for an off season weekend beach getaway and this location was perfect. We loved the beautifully appointed and clean house which was a two minute walk from the beach. The house even had a couple of partial ocean views. And the beach was wonderful. We could take our dog on and let her run. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return!

Great Vacation Destination!

Great property! The location is perfect and is on a section of the beach that doesn’t get crowded. The house was spotless and exactly as described. The Property Manager was awesome and responded very quickly to any questions we had prior to arrival, and was very accommodating when we arrived. I highly recommend this property and I will definitely be back again soon!

Nice family vacations by the beach

The house was as shown on the website. Location was great, with a view on the beach /ocean and just a few steps to walk to get there. Just a nice walk to get to the pier. The house was clean and pretty with all necessary commodities.

This rental was such a charm. The house is clean, well organized and inviting . You do have to walk a little bit to the beach, but we always met friendly warm people. The bonus… it’s dog friendly. Grab your luggage and rent this home. You won’t be sorry.

Amazing location 30 sec from the beach. Very cozy house, vwry confortable. The host is very nice, there to accommodate your requests. We and our friends really lived our trip. Would be back and would recommend any time.

Very clean & well stocked

Honestly, kinda plain from the outside, so pleasantly surprised. The inside was well cleaned and had “goodies” like TP that we would’ve normally had to bring. The living room had a great view of the sun over the ocean. It was comfortable for a family movie night. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it had what we needed and then some. The stairs are steep, but there was a hand railing. Beach was a super quick walk and even in winter, was beautiful. Would come back for a nice get away.

Cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in

Jason’s home was a lovely 3-story home set one street across from Old Orchard beach, just a couple minute walk from the sand. I found it to be the cleanest rental (especially for a beach rental) that I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was in working order and updated in the home. Jason made renting extra easy because all linens and accessories were provided. Providing beach caddies, boogie boards, sand toys etc is one thing, but these were all in great condition, too, which is impressive all on its own. The kitchen is fully stocked, but if you anticipate cooking and leftovers, I recommend bringing storage bags and aluminum foil, etc. The dual-drop/Keurig coffee maker worked great. The check out process was as easy as I had ever encountered. Jason was completely understanding that it’s vacation and wanted guests not to feel pressure to clean everything before leaving. This inspired us to clean even more as a courtesy to he and his cleaning crew. The outdoor shower works great and needs a weedwack, but even had warm water since our stay was a little chilly. The walk to the pier was easily accessible (or a short drive). The parking is tight, but Jason was responsive for help, questions, and advice. The neighbor behind the house has quite a few dogs (who she said were not friendly). They stayed to their property but could get going on barking at times. The area is clearly very family and pet-friendly. Thank you for a great experience!

Perfect all around

We loved everything about our stay here. Perfect location right on Old Orchard Beach. The house is perfect for what we needed/wanted. Wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely come back for a longer stay next time we’re in Maine.

Amazing Property. Book it now!!

The house is in a wonderful location with great views of the ocean from several rooms. The listing photos really do tell the story of this beautiful home. The beach is just a few steps away from the property. Attention to detail was obviously put in to ensure a wonderful guest experience. The home is very clean, there are practical amenities throughout (4 smart TV’s), and our host was super communicative and accommodating. Portland & Saco being a short drive away is just icing on the cake. Can’t wait to return again soon…

Will not be staying again

We've stayed at this property 4 times. The house is very close to the beach, clean, and allows dogs during the off season. Unfortunately, we will be looking for a different property to stay in the next time we are in OOB. The property manager sent a message to me the last time we stayed that if we wanted to come back, he could give us a discount. Before I booked, I asked if the discount was still available. He said it was still available and to make a booking request and he would give us a discount. I booked the property, and followed up multiple times asking about the discounted rate. He replied each time that he was looking into it, but never applied a discount to our rate. Then, about a week before we stayed, he messaged me and asked if I would be interested in staying at the property a day early since it was available. He offered me a "large discount" if we wanted to stay the extra day. Then, after leaving the property, I got another message from the property manager promising a discount if we wanted to come back to stay at the property again. It just doesn't sit right with me that I was offered a discount to stay at the property, never received that discount, and then was offered more discounts for staying longer or staying again.

Great house stone throw form the beach

Great place.... Very clean and everything you will need to stay. It was three levels and it had supplies needed for the beach (Beach wagon, chairs, towel, sand toys...). We stayed off season so most of the houses were vacant. We would definately come back again. I did send two messages to the owner, but did not get a response.

Family beach vacation

Family vacation with five adults, a three year old and a ten month old. The rental had enough space and nice amenities to accommodate all of us. We enjoyed quite a few family meals at the long dining room table, made smoothies in the blender. The kids were a little too young for all the rides and games at the Pier so we mainly stayed at the beach - the wagon, buckets and beach toys came in handy. There were also boogie boards and kites available to use. Jason was very hospitable, the place was clean. Only negative comment is that a woman next door had barking dogs and was blasting ’80’s music. I think Boy George is very talented, but Carma Chameleon got a little old the third time around. Hopefully she was just renting the place for a week. Otherwise the whole vacation was fantastic

Near beach

The cottage was very nice but the write-up was a little misleading. For example ocean views are very limited—mostly see rooftops, half bath was on ground floor, and stairs to main living area.

Relaxing beach trip

My husband and i loved this VRBO ! Its just steps from the beach everthing you would need for your trip is is there. The house is beautifully decorated and the furnishings are very comfortable. But i think what we loved most was watching the sun rise from the living room window. I definitely would recommend this rental.
