Lovely experience
We had an enjoyable experience! It was a lovely change of pace to stay in a unique cottage instead of the usual generic hotel chain. The train depot was nicely renovated and our stay was comfortable. It had most of the amenities we were expecting/needed. One note would be to provide a couple more washcloths and hand towels as only one of each was provided. This was in a convenient location between LaCrosse and Winona so we were able to venture to both with minimal driving. Our host was great, Communication and information was clear. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quant and comfortable experience along the Mississippi.

Labor Day Weekend Trip
We had a wonderful stay! The cottage had everything we needed to enjoy a quick getaway with our pup over Labor Day weekend. Great location as it was close to La Crosse and many hiking trails. Peggy and Tim were wonderful hosts. Looking forward to our next Driftless adventure and staying here again!

Awesome
We throughly enjoyed our stay! The checkin was great and the home was very clean! We had our dog with us and he loved it! He had room to run in the backyard and play. He felt comfortable when we left him while we grabbed dinner. We didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit but it was available and plenty of firewood and kindling along with a few patio chairs to sit in.

Friendly and accommodating
Great little place to stay with your pets. A little outside of town so no conveniences close but a nice quiet place to relax. Owners allowed us to have a few friends and family for a quiet BBQ and Cornhole match. Clean and prompt to answer any questions we had. Air conditioning worked great.

Stay in History
I loved the history associated with the property! Small and compact but everything I needed was there. Loved the fire pit with wood and starter. Location was great for seeing the fall colors! I would definitely stay again.
