"As Motel 6 goes, this one is quite good. Decor is updated, rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are reasonably comfortable. The parking lot for the rooms on the back side is mildly sketchy, but not terrible. That is the main reason I'm not giving it 5 stars. "

"Shady folks. I thought Walnut Creek would be safe but you get what you pay for. I left at midnight and drove somewhere safer, quieter and slept in my car."

"A very large, clean room with basic amenities: refrigerator and microwave. No coffeemaker nor a hair dryer. The area of town is very convenient to a grocery store, coffee shops and restaurants, all within a 5 min walk. The staff is very congenial. My arrival and check-in time was late, after 11 pm. The office personnel was friendly and welcoming, esp given the late hour. I will happily book a stay here again. "
