“The hotel was ok as it was a very hot weekend i found the rooms very uncomfortable as for air-conditioning you had a fan in the bedroom to keep you cool only problem was you had to leave it on all night. Would i stay there again yes as long as the weather is not too hot ”

“Only comments are how hot our room was and breakfast waiting staff appear to have little serving training. There was a small fan in the room but could do with something more cooling or larger fan. Great facilities and although we didn't eat lunch/dinner, the food looked amazing. Waiting staff lent over us eating to clear plates of our party on a couple, of occasions, also took the fruit as I was picking & barged past us at the servery a few times. However, this experience wont put us off……

“Our weekend stay was very good. The staff are very attentive and couldn’t do more for you. The sports facilities , swimming pool, gym, sauna, hot tub and steam room are all in excellent order and well maintained. Dining is exceptional whether it’s Breakfast or Evening Dinner. A really great place to relax in very historic surroundings.”

“The Belfry is brilliantly well run. The staff are by far the best I've ever met in any hotel in my entire life. Truly brilliant. Friendly, engaging, funny, professional and confident. Proud of where they work and their part in it. Not unctuous just terrific. They should let the managers run the country. And before you dismiss my enthusiasm for the ramblings of someone who doesn't get out. I travel the world always staying at the best hotels. The Belfry was my third that week.”
