Nice budget friendly part of the world in South part of the big Island. Very neat and tidy accommodation. Good bed. Quiet place. Access to punaluhulu black sand beach for an easy walk to see the turtles. Staff friendly. It is dated but def neat and tidy and we could have stayed an extra couple of nights. Worth the stop.

Tranquility, walking distance to the Black Sand beach. Clean, washer and dryer was very convenient. The bed and pillows were amazing! Front desk very friendly and accommodating. Love this place, hope to come back again.

The accommodations were very comfortable and reasonably priced; a good base of operations to visit Volcanoes National Park. While the property and the staff were very good, there are limited dining options in the area - a little advance planning is recommended!

Anyone who enjoys nature and absolute peace and serenity - this is the place to go and stay. With ocean views and 3 min walk to black sand beach with sunrise to watch and a 30 min drive to Kilauea to the North and 1 of the 4 Green Sand Beaches in the world to the South to just name a few.

Basic accommodations not near stores or restaurants but close to the ocean, nature and volcanoes! Customer service was good. Hot tub and pool were excellent. Great value. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! The unit was beautiful, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway and great staff. The backyard sitting area was a real highlight—grilling steaks on the Weber while watching the waves roll in was such a memorable experience. The only minor downside was that the air conditioning was limited to a portable unit in the bedroom, so it could get a bit warm in the kitchen and living area, especially on more humid days. That said, the bedroom stayed cool for sleeping, and the overall comfort of the space more than made up for it. The location, views, and overall value were fantastic—and the price was very reasonable for everything we got. We’d absolutely love to return if we get the chance!

It’s a beautiful property with nice pool and hot tub. It was great to have washer/dryer in the room, but service was lacking in that they were the only place we stayed that didn’t provide shampoo/conditioner or washer detergent. They ask you to run the dishwasher but don’t provide dishwasher soap. They did provide hand washing detergent. It was the most expensive place that we stayed.

It is away from the craziness of the city. Very laid back. Quiet and beautiful. Nice view. The receptionist was awesome and very helpful. They communicated well due to the issues we had upon arriving.

Amazing remote location

Truly an amazing experience - beautiful remote property that’s walking distance to Black Sands Beach - plenty of sea turtles and just gorgeous views with next to no one around. Highly recommend grocery shopping before going and cooking most of your meals. However there are great food truck options nearby - AMA’s kitchen and Encanto were our favorites. Bedding was super comfortable and the Murphy bed was perfect for our 3 year old and the view from our balcony was of the beach and a nice way to start our morning. Staff was super friendly and they have chairs to rent, rice cooker, towels etc that made it super convenient. 10/10 would stay again!

A quiet place perfect for stargazing. The kitchen was fully equipped and the condo even had a washer and dryer. Very clean as well. However, no AC, no major city nearby, if you arrived past 8 to your room there was close to no parking.

Convenient stay with nice hot tub

Convenient stay near South Point. Comfortable bed. Washer and dryer was nice. Hot tub was amazing! The front desk person was very friendly and helpful. The AC unit in the bedroom was pretty loud but a consistent sound similar to white noise. If that bothers you, i would suggest earplugs.

Leilani and Walter (sorry if I got it wrong) at the front desk are the epitome of Aloha. They saved this leg of our trip on the island, they are extremely helpful. There's one employee that almost soured our stay by power-tripping but Leilani made things better. The grounds are nice, pool area has a nice view of the water. It's a little bit of a trek but we just walked to black sand beach to watch the turtles.

Nice stay

We spent three nights. They called us to give us instructions three days before the trip in case we checked in late, aka, after 5 pm. That was helpful because our flight was delayed and we did check in late. No places to eat around the property. Need to buy grocery before check-in. Full kitchen. Need to bring your own soap and shampoo. Everything you need including laundry detergent is available for sale at the office. We had an ocean front unit near the pool. It was like the paradise when we sat at the patio looking at the ocean, listening to the waves, and enjoyed the palm trees, watching flowers and birds while we enjoyed our breakfast. The night sky was full of stars. It was about 1:45 min from the Kona airport and 1:15 to Hilo. We had a good stay.
