"Dated facilities but clean. Would benefit from replacing carpet in rooms with LVP"

"Absolutely blown away with how great our stay was! We were only passing through and spent one night at the honey bee. We weren’t arriving until after the office closed and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Everything was ready to go and the room was HUGE, smelled good and immediately felt nice and clean. They had everything we needed, the beds were comfy, the parking was good. Next time we visit the state park I’m certain we will be staying here again! "

"Beautiful, peaceful setting. Loved the cabin and all the farm animals. Lots of nice touches throughout the property. We enjoyed a day of relaxing on the lake between hike days. We used the canoe, enjoyed fishing, and had our first experience with kayaking. Also enjoyed a walk around the lake. Loved our two doggie mascots and the ponies. Saw the pig and a cat but only saw the peacocks from a distance. We had lots of laughs with the rooster. He certainly took his job seriously. We highly recommend this property and owners. "
