"We stayed for a week in Monopoli, and could not have asked for a better experience. Giacomo make the check in and check out extremely easy. The apartment was in the best location possible, just steps to the castle and Old port. It was clean and had everything we needed. Go to the restaurant across from the apartment Al Vicoletto. It is literally 5 steps away! Best food and service in the city! The rooftop terrace was so nice to sit and watch the sunset and have an apreritivo before dinner. We will be back!"

"I’ll start with the positives. It’s in a wonderful location in the old town. You do have a view of the sea from the second floor. We enjoyed many days, walking the immediate area and visiting the local churches and restaurants. However, it is not close to usable beaches. Most of the immediate beachfront area is under construction and not accessible. We arrived late in the evening and did not receive appropriate instructions as to where to park or access the property. It is very difficult because it is in the old town. I was told parking was available and did pay for the garage, but it is located at least a half a mile away. I had specifically asked about steps in the house since we are older and was told they’re only a few going in. There is a full flight of marble steps leading to the first floor, and then another full set of steps leading to the main bedroom area, which is not where the bathroom is. The bed was so uncomfortable that I opted to stay at another place for a few days. I think it is best suited for young travelers who are not concerned about comfort, but certainly not for people with young children. "
