This was a great hotel for us because of the proximity to all the things we wanted to do on our vacation . Just about everything was within walking distance for us. The room was very spacious and exceptionally clean and modern.
The king size bed was extremely comfortable.

The Royalty is located right in the middle of the action! We were able to easily walk to all attractions we wanted to see. Lots of restaurants and cafes near by as well.Staff was pleasant and helpful .
Our room was nice with a spacious patio. The rooftop bar was a highlight - beautiful view of Acropolis and never busy. We used it every night to end the day! Breakfast was also good with lots of choice
Being that close to all the action also means that there are lots of people and lots of noise. This did not bother us but if you are a light sleeper bring your earplugs!
The only negative I can think of was the pillows - small and lumpy not really fitting with the rest of the hotels aesthetic. Overall I would recommend

this place was an absolute dream! we only stayed for 2 nights but i wish it would’ve been more. property staff were super helpful with all your needs, they were also very considerate of the construction next door that they had already planned compensation for us at the time of check in. our room was beautiful and spotless, i will say the view is a little obstructed due to the growth of the trees but overall still a great view of athens and you could even see lycabettus hill from our room. if we ever get the chance to return to athens we will most definitely be choosing this hotel again!

Overall, our stay was fine. They turn the AC off starting in October for the winter, so the room was hot and difficult to sleep in. We had to sleep with the windows open to get cooler air, but given the location, there was a lot of street noise throughout the night. Everything was clean. The staff was kind and really did try to help. The rooftop bar was also closed for a private event, so we couldn’t go up there to escape the heat. It really was an unfortunate set of circumstances that made our stay not great. It’s a nice location for walking around Plaka and Monastiraki though.

"Really appreciated the refrigerator with freezer and stove and parking. Despite the two rooms it's fairly tight with steep windy stairs. Overall very nice but really needs a bigger better bed. AC was sufficient for both rooms. No room to put anything in the bathroom."
