There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. Look no further! This place was great. It checked all the boxes for us and the teenagers too! Gated community, very private and peaceful. You park right at the front door. EASY walk to the beach. We pulled a cart with 4 chairs, umbrella, beach stuff, cooler, body boards and food…no issues! No need for a golf cart…this place is way to close to the gate to need one. Alos, places to eat without having to drive! There’s a bar/beer store/liquor store right out side the gate going to the beach…that was awesome!
