We were extremely disappointed in the condo. In the four days were we there, we killed 10 roaches. The floors were not clean. The dryer had a broken spot inside where the lint trap is and my new swim suit got caught in it and broke the strap. The ice maker did not work and we had to buy ice. The sign on the ice machine said take as many as we wanted, but we were then charged for the four bags of ice as a total of 30. Despite our condo was big enough for 3 families, parking was only avaliable for two, IF we got lucky to find a spot in the overflow parking. Both vehicles required a parking pass but we were only issued one. The second vehicle was issued a warning. We never received the pass even when we called and requested it. Our third vehicle had to pay 50 for parking. There is no beach access at the condo before 6AM or after 10PM without going around the front of the building and going through the public beach access. It was aggravating for us that like to get out early. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I wish I would have paid closer attention to the reviews.

Roach Motel

You got me! You really got me with the false pictures and quality! This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed at, and I wanted to abandon the place and find a hotel, but for the high price, I couldn't leave and had to make the best of it. The condo manager was great, but I know, and he knew when I called, that there weren't enough places to park in the overflow parking. We had to park our van in the paid parking because our van would not fit in the tight one spot that is given. The overflow parking was a freaking joke, with only enough spaces for about 20 or less cars. Those cars never moved. It was a hassle to leave. If I could show pictures, I would. There were constant roaches coming from all over the place, mold in the shower, hair from previous guests in the drains that I had to unclog to get the water to go down, and stains on sheets, pillows, and bath towels. The codes to get to the pool and the beach never worked. I contacted Vasca for one set of codes and the property manager for another. The property manager had the correct codes. There is no guest service with a front desk. On check in days, there is no designated place to unload cars or to load. You have to park in someone's designated spot temporarily to get your stuff hauled to your room. Heres to hoping that the elevator even works. The entire place needs to be gutted out and redone. For the worst stay in a condo ever, I really want at least some of my money back. I feel like I have been robbed.

The balcony and views made this trip! We had 7 people in our group, the condo was roomy enough for all of us. One thing we noticed is there were dressers but no hangers to hang things in the closets, just a minor inconvenience. The downside of our stay was the cleanliness overall throughout the condo. We did have issues that we noticed two days into our trip, the dryer kept throwing a code that the dryer vent needed cleaned. Also the dishwasher would not power on, it also had ants and roaches in it. I called the number listed for any issues they asked for a picture of the dryer code which I sent and said they would send someone over, I gave permission for them to enter if we weren’t there. Needless to say no one ever showed!! Another issue we had was the code to the beach/pool was incorrect. Luckily a maintenance man was there when we were trying to get in and told us the code we were given was for February and not June. The property maintenance crew were very helpful and nice. We definitely spent the majority of our time at the beach and on the balcony.

Nice, but alot of minor inconveniences

The location was great! It was clean and plenty of room for our party of 6. Super glad there were beach chairs & toys! Nothing majorly wrong, just a few minor inconveniences that added up to be kind of frustrating.1) our code to the pool/beach access never worked. We asked several times and were told we'd be contacted by the local team and it never happened. Luckily, another family gave us their code so we could come & go. 2) the dryer filter was broken on arrival & without it, it took like 7 cycles to dry a load. A super nice guy came that evening to check it out! & someone else did come & drop off another one 2 days later, but it didn't fit. 3) parking was a disaster. If you have anything bigger than a VW beetle, don't bother going into the parking garage. I scratched the side of our minivan trying to make the tight turns. 4) not alot of cookware for more than a few people, but it was doable. 5) if you stay longer than 2 days, plan on bringing your own toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry/dish detergent.

Spring Break

The condo was great. Just needs a new lint catcher for the dryer. Communication from rental agency was not good at all. When we needed assistance with codes not being correct I called and talked to someone but still nothing was done.

Girl’s trip

Place was in a perfect location and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone. The clothes washer didn’t clean as well as expected. Would definitely recommend it.

Review

Overall it was a wonderful experience, great views, plenty of space. WONDERFUL BALCONY!! My only problem was with the parking it wasn’t that it was terrible but it was just a tight spot (my sister’s rental car got dented by a neighboring vehicle) and if you drive a lower sitting car (Altima) your vehicle will scrub very badly unless you really angle it and if it’s anything over a mid-size SUV it’s hard to fit. And there is only 1 spot on property there is free parking across if you can find a spot there if not there is paid parking right behind that. But I would 100% go back, no problems with the condo, I would just drive something different.

Lovely property, stunning views

What a lovely property! We cannot say enough about 601 Ocean Ritz. The place was beautiful, homey, comfortable and the views are magnificent. Our family came for the week of the 4th of July and I can't remember the last time we enjoyed a trip or accommodations so much. Would definitely return!

Vacation stay

We liked the size of the place that we stayed. We were concerned because of the lack of cleanliness. The floors needed mopping, refrigerator and stove had to be wiped down. We had to use a quilt from the closet and it wasn’t clean. Under the beds needed to be swept. I saw something that was left from last tenant.

Don't stay here!

Terrible! Only ONE elevator works! People wait FOUR plus hours to get to use the elevator. My husband has Parkinson's. Eventually we stopped going to the beach because we were afraid of having to wait for hours to use the elevator. Also, the HOA of this building (the Ocean Ritz) has cars towed for spite. Eleven were towed on the first day I was there. There are thousands of great choices in PCB...this is NOT one of them. Take your hard earned money and precious vacation days and go somewhere else.
