Great ambiance, customer service and stay

Overall this hotel is a good value for the money. I have stayed here before and I would stay here again - the price is right. Pros: The rooms are clean- I commend the cleaning staff, they are so friendly and accommodating!! amenities like the heated pool/spa, water refill station, and self serve laundry, warm cookies (ask for an allergen friendly one if needed!!). The hotel is also pet friendly. Could be improved: Some of the staff (not all) are unhelpful and seem to lack hospitality skills (like making effort to make sure guest requests are accommodated in a timely manner, if at all. If you bother them enough you’ll eventually get what you need) and overall the property is in need of some TLC and upgrades/remodel. The hallways have multiple spots where the ceiling is falling and wet from the rain. Parking price of $40 a night is extortionate. In closing: The location is beautiful with scenic views of the bay and walking trail/park right off the parking lot, there are a lot of great things about this hotel and the property, but it definitely needs some TLC and staff who care more about the customer experience (or maybe their job in general).
