Separate/detached one room bach at Peka Peka Beach, just short walk from the beach. Quiet location. Large studio room ( Queen size double bed + bed settee), kitchen (fridge, microwave, Mini oven, toaster, jug/kettle), toilet, shower room. Heat pump. Large sunny deck with bbq. TV and DVD (bring your own or borrow from our collection). Off road parking. Private entrance. Linen and towels provided. Eric can be reached on 022 371 0931 If a second bed is required there is a $20 laundry charge per night.MINIMUM STAY 2 NIGHTS. WIFI ENABLED

Perfect base
We booked the Rookery for my in-laws to stay at the weekend we got married. It was a perfect base for them with a great location near the beach. Eric was a superb host. Would definitely recommend.

Peace and Quiet
We loved the close proximity to the beach, which is our happy place. Also the privacy. It was a much needed rest for us, after moving countries and in transition between cultures, with all the upheaval 1 month after arriving. The hosts thought of all the wee extras which was lovely: Thank you so much to Eric and Linda. This wee break was very much needed by two weary persons.

We had a friendly and welcoming greeting on arrival with some tasty complementary camembert. The accommodation has a large private patio and is surrounded by trees and farmland with a good view of the sky and stars at night, the beach a 5 minute walk away, we had a pleasant stay away from the city

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in this peaceful location near the beach. The accommodation is comfortable and private. We loved walking on the beach, the cafe at Harrison's Country Gardenworld, and the easy drive to the many attractions around the Kapiti coast and in Wellington. Would stay here again.

Great stay at the Rookery!
We loved our stay at The Rookery. Eric greeted us with such a warm and bright welcome. The cheese and fruit platter on our arrival was a special personal touch. This place is such a relaxing, cosy and well organised accommodation space with everything we needed for a great stay. We just loved how close The Rookery is to the Peka Peka Beach - what a stunning beach. It's only an a short drive to the train station to take a train to Wellington. What more could you want! Thank you for a lovely stay in your little piece of paradise. We had a great time and made special family memories.
