Very Disappointing — Not at All Like the Pictures Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The hotel was nothing like the pictures shown online. When we arrived, it was undergoing renovations, and the property was very dusty and had a strong moldy smell. Plastic sheets were being used to block off the renovation areas, yet we were offered a room right beside the construction. The hallways were also extremely dark, with little to no lighting, which made the overall experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Our biggest frustration is that none of this was communicated to us before we made the reservation. Had we known the hotel was under significant renovations and what the conditions were like, we would never have booked a room there. Ultimately, we decided to leave and find another hotel because the conditions were simply not acceptable. I strongly believe guests deserve transparency when booking accommodations, especially when major renovations are taking place. The hotel should have clearly disclosed this information and provided accurate, up-to-date pictures before accepting reservations.
