Super welcome from the host on arrival and lovely welcome pack-a nice touch and welcome surprise! Excellent communication with Lesley before and throughout our stay. Very secure property for our 3yr old dog with large secure garden to side of property for off-street parking and occupant use only. Would also recommend a meal/drinks at Chez Julie in the village, just a short walk from the……

“Deze omgebouwde schaapskooi is in originele stijl gebleven maar is erg mooi van binnen. De oude haard en sfeer is behouden maar erg mooi opgeknapt. De 2 zwembaden hebben we ook gebruikt, beide zijn erg mooi en schoon. Prima uitgeruste keuken, grote tafel waar we alle 10 aan konden zitten. Ook de netheid was dik in orde. Een nadeel van die originaliteit is, de lage deuren. Diverse leden van ons gezelschap stootten hun hoofd. De bovenverdieping bevat een aantal slaapkamers maar ook bedden die……

“The place was ideal for us. It had the most amazing outdoor areas where we could dine and gather to relax. Temperatures reached 38 degrees and the pool area and decking had plenty of shade and beautiful views looking over the river in the distance. There were two BBQ areas and the kitchen had everything you needed. You could walk to the town where there were a number of restaurants and a short drive across the river to a local supermarket. Highly recommend.”

“We fell in love with this old Priory as soon as we arrived. It was extremely peaceful. The grounds were extensive with the river running through the grounds. We particularly liked the little chapel & hope that if we return this will have been restored. Our gite was very clean & comfortable. Gilles was a good helpful host. We will go back.”

“Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans la maison de Céline. Le logement était propre à notre arrivée et prêt à nous recevoir. Un grand espace commun au RDC permet d'être nombreux sans se sentir serrés. Les plus jeunes profiteront de la salle de jeux attenante avec de nombreux jouets. Grand jardin en extérieur. À l'étage les chambres sont spacieuses. Le village est joli et à proximité de Chauvigny (ville médiévale avec pas moins de 5 châteaux !), St Savin (Abbaye classée au patrimoine……

Avant tout, Roger est accueillant, disponible, agréable, qui sait parfaitement mettre à l'aise et qui a toujours répondu très rapidement à nos sollicitations. Le logement est très propre et très bien équipé. De plus, le grand jardin est très agréable -- avec des chiens très sympathiques (pourtant, nous n'aimons pas particulièrement les chiens...) -- et il y a des promenades paisibles et plaisantes à faire près de la maison. Nous recommandons……
