"I chose the Excelsior for its proximity to the train station, as I was arriving and leaving by train and also did an excursion by train to the Certosa nearby (which I highly recommend). It also was close enough to all of the other sights to be walkable. The room was spotlessly clean. Also, the city map provided by the hotel was excellent! Tourist maps often do not label all streets, or use printing so small that they are not user-friendly, but this one was great."

"We recently stayed at The Bresbot Hotel, a charming old manor house currently undergoing renovations. Despite the ongoing work, our visit was fantastic. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. He even provided directions to a delightful local restaurant nearby, where the food was exceptional.     "The room was lovely! The housekeeping staff was amazing! They knew my schedule and kept the room spotless! The desk staff was amazing! If anyone went hungry at breakfast it was their fault! There was something for everyone’s palette! The best part was the central location and the marvelous restaurants I found Not on the Duomo Piazza! This will be my go to hotel when in Milan!"
