As someone originally from the Gulf Coast who came back home to visit family, I can honestly say Centennial Plaza exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the property smelled fresh, clean, and welcoming. The room and bed were absolutely immaculate — honestly felt as if the hotel had just opened. Everything was pristine and beautifully maintained. What truly stood out was the level of service. Housekeeping came daily without us even having to call — changing trash, refreshing towels, cleaning the bathroom, and even restocking bottled water. That level of attention and consistency is rare these days and was greatly appreciated. From the restaurant to the amenities, everything felt top tier. The location is perfect and puts you right in the middle of everything. There are more than enough activities nearby for both children and adults, and the atmosphere truly gives “vacation/tourist destination” energy while still feeling comfortable and relaxing. The entire experience made it hard to leave. Centennial Plaza gave me the perfect mix of nostalgia, comfort, luxury, and Gulf Coast hospitality. I genuinely cannot wait to come back and visit again. Highly recommended.

Very nice apartment with a quiet atmosphere. It was very clean and newly furnished. It was a very good price, cheaper than other stays in the same area. Very close to downtown Ocean Springs for good food, shopping, and nightlife.

Clean, comfortable cabin with a lovely view of the water. Fantastic restaurants across the street too. Convenient locale near Biloxi and very close the charming Ocean Springs shopping and dining. Hosts were very welcoming.

The hot tub was nice, but the controls and faucet head was loose. The mirror surrounding the tub was cloudy and streaked. The ottoman was very worn. The shower valve was stuck, so no shower. The bed was okay and the room was reasonably clean.

The hotel is beautiful and very welcoming. The staff were all great and worked diligently to ensure we were taken care of from check in to check out. We both agreed the bar seems a bit understaffed and it took a while to get served, but it wasn't because the bartender was slow or ill equipped for the task, it was that she was covering the bar, the restaurant and the guest sitting in the bar area. The restaurant wait staff and hostess were very friendly and work hard to accommodate us even though the food was less than desirable. My wife got a chicken dish that was so salty she couldn't eat it. She loves salt on her food, but this was not eatable. I had the shrimp and grits. It tasted okay but came with 4 small shrimp. Unacceptable for what I am used to from a good restaurant. I'm from the area and know what is acceptable for the price paid for this popular dish. The waiter adjusted the bill and removed my wife's dish, but the chef said mine was as is...M&Ms in my room later has to suffice for the evening meal. Overall we understand the hotel was newly opened and was a very comfortable place to stay. I'm looking forward to going back but will probably skip the restaurant for a local choice that I can trust for a delicious meal at a reasonable price. In closing the coffee shop the next day was amazing primarily due to the amazing lady that greeted me with a warm smile and a cheerful good morning.
