“Die Unterkunft liegt in Caniço. Von dort ist es nicht weit zur Hauptstadt Funchal und zum Flughafen. Die Infrastruktur in Canico ist sehr gut, mit zwei Lebensmittelgeschäften, eine Bäckerei und einigen Restaurants. Die Unterkunft in der Maisonette Wohnung ist recht großzügig. Es war alles dort was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr gut und hilfreich! An dieser Stelle nochmals vielen Dank! “Good location, not far from Funchal and from the airport. Public bus very near. Rooms are clean and nice (except the ones near the public areas like terraces or stairs very close to the balcony with people coming uop and down). Breakfast was also OK, quite big variety, although similar every day. Swimming pool very small, but direct access to the ocean. Fitness Centre open only till 21.30 during weekdays and till 20.00 on Saturdays and Sundays (It was the most weird and crazy there). Many floors……

“This stay was the perfect hotel for relaxation, away from the madness of Funchal. It gave us a perfect base to tour the island. It gave us the chance to cover many levada walks and tour the island by car ( a car is essential if you want to explore). The hotel ran many other sessions including rum punch making, wine tasting and botanical tours. The facilities includes a freshwater pool, indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna as well as spa facilities. Staff cannot do enough for you and the breakfast……

“Awesome stay! Very friendly and professional staff from the room cleaning staff and throughout the hotel. Always felt welcomed and staff happy to serve/help in anyway. Ocean view and pools below...great vista. Unfortunately, a little noisy in late hours 2200-2330h a few nights from a particular bar off the hotel grounds but...we travel with ear plugs. Loved our room... luxury. Room service prompt. ”
