“Cosy Corner Cottage is indeed a very cosy cottage. It's off the main road, so you'll park a little distance away from the front door. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very simply laid out. It's ideal for a couple looking for a quiet bolt hole in the middle of the Peak District. Baslow is a great village with plenty of pubs, grocery shopping at the local store or Co-op, and the Cavendish Hotel where you can get a 5-star meal. You're minutes away from Chatsworth and can walk there very……

“Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you.”

“as a fan of one Lord Byron I was excited to stay here. the staff at the museum and the surrounding neighbors were so helpful, and thank goodness for that! as someone who came by cab and unfortunately arrived later than planned because both trains I took to get there arrived late - finding the keys after a 20 minute walk from the front gate to the Abbey was nearly impossible! first of all the check-in instructions have no code for the main gate in order to access the grounds. So it is impossible……

“Wonderful home.I’ve booked homes in Belper four times and this is much better than the rest. Larger rooms, beautifully decorated, fantastic host. So well stocked with everything you need to prep a meal. Very nice location just around the corner of the main street, but still a quiet location. Overall, a great place to stay. ”
