We stayed 2 night with my family and had two main issues.
Before I start though, the house is big and was clean. There was plenty of room. Area was beautiful. Arrival and entry were simple. Not a bad place at all.
No AC. Our fault, but we thought there’d be central ac, or at least window units in the rooms. Only 2 rooms had units, others were HOT!
Second, the host messaged me “her number” day of check in, but it was the wrong number. Waited over a whole day for a reply but not reply. Finally messaged and asked for a late checkout. She messaged back 14 hours later and an hour AFTER we were already required to check out. Communication was poor. I think if the host just stuck with the app for communication it would’ve been smoother.
Couple last things:
- Paddles for the ping pong table were broken so we had to buy our own (left them so future guests have paddles)
- The basement return register makes a sparking noise regularly (hazard?)
- toilet handle in the bathroom by the garage was broken off, you had to pinch and turn handle
-grill looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years
