Water damage to all of our trimboards. Rooms were not what was shown in first picture. Baseboards peeling off walls. Mold in showers. Dryer broken. Pillows were folded in half, rooms cold. Furnishings 40 years old.

Inside the room was clean and adequate. The hall was smelly, dirty, pipe leak, open ceiling tile. Trip hazard entrance rug. No juice or coffee for breakfast. Trash all around the building. The staff was nice enough.

Couldnt check in fornthe stay, because no one was at front desk. Called several number that had at front desk. No one awnsered. Place is run down smelled of mold and dog. An they charged me for a no show stay. Couldnt check into till 4pm. Cancelation need to be done by 2pm. Very very upset with this situation

This hotel is not a 10 but if your looking for a place to stay and just sleep it’s perfect. I’ve stayed at really fancy hotels but I have to say for the price you can’t beat it. It is convenient because ur close to everything around pipestone.

Fits right into Pipestone...humble, does its job
This place was clean and ready. It filled the bill. It's a small local motel in a town that needs a general magic wand for its downtown; the motel just fits right in at present. The building is an older one. There are two stories, with carpeted halls. If you want fancy decor and matching curtains and bedspreads, well, go elsewhere. For the price I couldn't beat it. Yes, petunias in a few pots would help outside. Sprucing up the parking lot and the entry would also help with curb appeal. Stuff like that. But I was really sleepy and needed to crash and that went well. Bathroom was clean. Surfaces throughout were clean. I got a queen bed with 2 pillows on a weekend for $67, half of the rate I paid at a convention rate in Sioux Falls an hour away the day before. Other overnighters appear to have felt the same way. I believe that there are full-time residents here, but didn't necessarily meet them. There was noise in hall at times--the hall sounds are not muffled. A minimal breakfast was serve-yourself in front hall...juice, milk, caffeine coffee, waffles, 2 kinds of colored kiddie cereal. Might have had bread for toast also--not sure. I thought the t.v. in my room was not working, but it was fault of my purse sitting in front of the cable box. Figured it out and I got better free choices than in Sioux Falls. Not sure why it's called OYO. Sign said Pipestone Hotel or just Hotel Pipestone. Can't remember. Gal at counter was friendly and helpful and she listened.

You get what you pay for... Not much.
The woman at he desk was friendly. It went down hill from there. The door to our room was adjar when we arrived in the fithly halls so I knocked bofroe entering. since the door didn't hang straight it would not close tight unless you forced it. Very old, needs to be torn down or total remodel. cable wires draped thru the filthy hallway hanging down from the missing ceiling tile. If it hadn't been so late when I arrived, I never would have stayed. here.
