The hotel is right on the beach and a block away from shopping and dining options. The resort itself offers a large selection of food and drinks for you to choose from with some of the friendliest staff. The pools are very nice and all the views are beautiful. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting to stay at an all inclusive in cancun.

It’s a great place to stay. The only complain that I have is our room location . It was next to a beach club from the other hotel so it gets loud during the day ! Luckily , we booked some tours and were out most of the time . It gets quite at night .

We booked this resort for its location right downtown Playa. The location was great, but what was even better was the extremely high level of service we received from the amazing staff. Every single staff member we met, from reception, security, pool and lobby bars was beyond anything we’ve ever experienced. This is obviously a place where the staff feels appreciated by the owners. The hotel in general and the staff in particular were excellent. However, there was some construction on the property that was not announced when we did the original booking. This did cause some unpleasantness during our stay. Furthermore, don't come for the beach. It is short, extremely busy with questionable water quality.

Resort is very clean and beautiful. Staff was top notch - friendly and helpful! Food excellent but we would have loved an option for Mexican food for lunch and dinner (besides room service). They seem to be working on a few areas of the resort, so perhaps they are adding dining options. Beach is stunning, but is public so very busy on weekends. Our stay was mostly quiet with some occasional loud club music from the neighboring resorts. Overall a very nice vacation!

My room was well stocked I choose a swim up which was beautiful. For my birthday friendly gentleman named Jesus that helped me with my bags to my room organized my scream birthday cake and they painted the mirror with ghost face. He had help from another worker but dint get to meet that person but i am truly grateful thank you for the amazing birthday and experience.

From the moment I arrived at Devossion by Live Aqua, I was completely impressed. The resort was spotless, everything from the rooms to the pools and common areas was beautifully maintained and sparkling clean. The food was amazing! Every meal was full of flavor and beautifully presented, whether it was a casual bite or a fine dining experience. The spa was pure relaxation, a true highlight of my trip. Huge shoutout to David and Angie at the spa for making my experience so rejuvenating and memorable. I also want to give special thanks to Augusto at the grill and Raul at La Cocina, their service and hospitality were top notch. In fact, every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. This resort has everything you could ask for. From cleanliness, luxury, incredible food, and genuinely caring staff. I’m already planning my next visit. Devossion by Live Aqua is truly a place I’ll revisit again!

The resort itself and the staff were nice. The breakfast buffet food could use improvement but breakfast room service food is very good. Four of us went from age 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, and beyond and all of us found the resort to be extremely uneventful and boring. Cocktails were hit or miss at the bars but overall good enough. Adding lively music at the pool and or beach would be great. Two hours of a live singer of soft music is romantic but not exciting. There’s nothing exciting to see or do here. We were forced to seek out adventure away from the resort each day. We spent so much money going to other islands trying to find something fun and nicer to do. Overall I am disappointed with this trip. Maybe it’s just not our vibe. I couldn’t go to the sports bar because the temp was very cold and the music was deafeningly loud. I wish I could say I enjoyed something. The spa cenote is a must see.

I had a pleasant stay at Devossion by Live Aqua Playa del Carmen. The room was spacious with a beautiful oceanfront view, and the room service was excellent, available multiple times a day, including in-room dining. The beach was lovely, though there was some seaweed during the last couple of days; the staff did a great job cleaning it each morning. It’s worth noting that the beach isn’t private, as it’s public by law. There were a few downsides: there was a constant sound of running water coming from upstairs, and nearby construction could be heard at times. The resort also seemed a bit understaffed. Although there are four restaurant options, we often had to wait 20–30 minutes for a table and another 45 minutes to an hour for food. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating, with the exception of one person, Ms. America. Overall, despite a few inconveniences, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! The property itself is stunning—immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and every corner exudes a sense of care and attention to detail. The service was truly world-class. Roberto at the lobby bar, Mateo in the restaurant, and Jhonny at the pool bar were exceptional, and every single team member we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The staff’s warmth, attentiveness, and genuine friendliness transformed our stay into something truly special. The beach is breathtaking—pristine, serene, and perfect for relaxing or taking in the incredible views. Dining at the restaurants and the pool deck grill was a delight; every meal was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly presented. The arts and crafts team added a uniquely fun and memorable touch, allowing us to create our own souvenirs—what a wonderful way to take home a personal memento of our stay! The front desk team was always ready to help with anything we needed, and the greeting team set the perfect tone on arrival with cold towels and refreshing drinks—such a thoughtful and classy welcome. Every detail, from the gorgeous surroundings to the flawless service, made this an unforgettable experience. We left feeling completely spoiled and will absolutely be returning. This hotel is a true gem, and we cannot recommend it highly enough!
