"What a beautiful space. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there but we were so lucky to have everything we needed. We even got to enjoy the hot tub during the rain because it is protected by an overhand. Bill was so kind and responsive. I loved the different coffee and tea options!"

"Our stay was comfortable and fun! The property is beautiful and well equipped for a relaxing long weekend. We really enjoyed the pool and access to hiking in the area. The sunrises were perfect and we loved sitting out on the deck. The only thing to note is that the water comes out orange/brown I believe because of the septic system. There is a filtered water tap in the kitchen for drinking which suited us just fine. I would absolutely stay here again. "
"My family and I had the best stay at this cottage. It is in a wonderful location and has such amazing space. The back deck and front porch extends the living space even more. Our dog and grandchild so enjoyed walking down to the lake that was just down the street and the views of the mountains in the rear were just so inspiring. I just loved the primary bedroom (again nicely sized) and the kitchen and dining area permitted the whole family to gather around happily. It really was wonderful. So happy I came across this home. It was such a great stay. "

"All were excited to stay up in the mountains and be together for a few days. The hot tub was the biggest hit as for two days it rained quite a bit this was something they could still do along with the ping pong table and foose ball. All in all it was a more relaxed stay which made it nice for my hubbie. Thanks to Michelle for her explanation of the amenities that weren’t there and why also. It’s a nice retreat place to stay also! "

"This rental was the perfect home base for our four-day hiking trip—ideally located near both Minnewaska State Park and New Paltz. We were pleasantly surprised that the space was ready earlier than expected. Inside, everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. It was an ideal setup for two friends, with private bedrooms and plenty of shared space to relax after days outdoors. A truly great find—grab it if it’s available!"

The only thing to note is that there is a bit of walking on a rocky trail before reaching the campsite (not next to the parking spot). The river was fun to explore but can be difficult for younger kids to get to. The campsite is close to Minnewaska State Park, very convenient. "
