Lovely hike around lake. Get there early (open at 9 AM) to get a parking space.
Just a short drive to Minnewaska you’ll find great hiking and Acosta Falls where you can swim and hike the falls on a beautiful day.
VERY icy this time of year, but the hike up "Gertrude's Nose" has magnificent views. Next time we won't attempt it without crampons!
