"Phangan Rainbow Bungalows is hands down one of the best places I’ve stayed in Koh Phangan a true getaway retreat! My bungalow was spotlessly clean, super cozy, & had everything I needed to feel right at home. The real showstopper, though, was the view. Waking up to lush greenery & the sparkling ocean was absolutely priceless Martin and his wife are the heart and soul of this place. Their warmth & hospitality made me feel like family from the second I arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure I had the best stay, always ready with a smile, local tips, or help with anything I needed. Whether it was recommending a hidden beach or sorting out a scooter rental (which is highly recommended) they made everything effortless. This place is a perfect blend of chill vibes & island charm, ideal for anyone looking to escape & soak in Koh Phangan’s magic. Phangan Rainbow Bungalows is a must stay I can’t wait to come back"

"Loved Palita Lodge, the staff were excellent, kept guard over the property when Full Moon party was on, we could easily nip back to our room and use our clean toilet. Yummy free breakfast, beautiful Party Buffet and free cocktail. They even made us a packed lunch because we were leaving early for the boat. 100%recommend."

Close enough to a range of eating options but quiet and relaxing. This is not for you if you want to party all night or need shopping malls, but for feet in the sand and relaxation, don’t think twice. "

"We had an amazing stay at Yangdai. Everything was top notch and the quality of service by the staff was well above the call of duty. Mr. Ping made sure to coordinate anything we needed on the island (taxi, excursions, restaurants, event tickets, etc) and even drove us to the ferry port himself when we were making bad timing. Highly recommend "

"The hotel is beautiful. The pool looking onto the beach is stunning. Reception staff are super friendly. Not great for solo travellers if you want a really social vibe and to meet people with activities etc, there is one dorm. The hotel hosts large groups of young travellers. Its sometimes feels like they take over the hotel. They have BBQs, quizzes, parties etc and the rest of the hotel is excluded. Great place to chill."

"The property is beautiful. The staff is very accommodating and can understand most English. One big thing to keep in mind is it’s only accessible by a boat or by a taxi service that has 4x4 capability! It can be costly if you plan on making trips to town everyday "

"I booked a beachfront bungalow many weeks in advance of my trip to Koh Phangnan. They hotel msg’d me 2 hours before check in while I was on the ferry to the island to tell me they double booked and my bungalow was not available. Then they were rude to me about it when I asked to cancel and refund. They said they’d cancelled and refunded me but at the time of writing this review Expedia are still trying to contact the hotel to confirm and provide a refund. Avoid these rude people and their incompetence around reservations. Better options all over the island. "

"Beautiful property. Open air bathroom/ Closet concept in the room is awful. A bat came into our bathroom closet area while we were bathing at 2pm. Close off the entrance points to keep critters out please! A gecko with half a tail fell on us in the toilet area. "

"The BEST resort on Haad Rin Bay for the Full Moon Party. You are right on the beach with gorgeous views of the bay everyday was waking up in PARADISE! The Burger shack across the street is unbelievably DELICIOUS! The location was excellent "

"Sand in my Shoes was a very relaxed, chilled-out place to stay. It was very peaceful and the location is perfect- you literally roll out of bed right on to the beach. I watched many sunrises sitting on a sun lounger followed by a delicious coffee made by the super-attentive and friendly staff there. The large deck cafe area is great for hanging out any time of the day and the food is delicious…. especially breakfast. Comfy beds and very quiet at night. "

"Ignore the old reviews- this place has had a makeover and for the price, it’s excellent. You can’t get closer to the beach, the area is quiet but still with enough shops/ cafes and restaurants. Good air con, hot shower with good temperature, clean bedding and room. We stayed here for two nights over new years to head to the FMP, it was about 300 baht ew pp for a taxi there and also about 300 baht pp to the pier - but it’s much nicer than staying in Haad Rin if you’re a couple. And the beach makes it also worth paying that bit extra for! Didn’t use the pool but plenty of people were, the temperature felt good (perhaps could’ve had a bit of a clean though) "

"I booked this place without doing much research and with their being a 6/10 rating and only two reviews. It was risky but the photos looked lovely and I was looking for a place near Haad Rin beach. It turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip to Thailand so far. It is an oasis. Unreal location. Amazing vegan food. I didn’t want to leave at the end of my stay. A couple things to note, this property requires you to take a water taxi or off road vehicle to access. That would’ve initially hindered me from booking but I think in the end, it created for a better experience. While I really loved my time there, my only negative experience was with the bugs in the room. The villas are like mini tree houses and not fully sealed so I did have some ants, a worm, flys, and likely other bugs I didn’t see around the room. A mosquito net may provide an additional layer of comfort to those not used to sharing a space with little bugs. But I would do every mosquito bite over because the beautiful experience of staying on this property was well worth it. I plan to be back someday. "
