Agustin helped us greatly when our shuttle out of Tamarindo canceled 5 hours before and managed to find an alternative for us! Overall, very easy to walk anywhere in town from Refugio. Expect some noise at night but they offer earplugs and truthfully it never was bad enough to need them"

"I stayed with two friends for a couple of nights here. We were provided an extra bed, so the three of us had a comfortable stay in the room. We all loved the pool and swam in it both nights. There are only 4 rooms, so we felt well taken care of. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Tamarindo."

"Our stay at Hotel Casa Blanca was absolutely fantastic. "

"there is only 2 draw backs about this accomodation. 1) the noise that permeates the walls and roof. The noise in the room nearest the busy street is pretty bad. 2) the breakfast. Other than that the room is spacious if not a little weird with the toilet not being vented but open to the room. the bed was comfortable and the receptionist was helpful."

"Casa Mapache is a lovely place managed by lovely people. The spacious, clean room had a king size bed and two twin beds, which was perfect for our family of four with two "tween" boys who don't want to share a bed if they don't have to! "This place was amazing! When we first got there we were greeted very pleasantly was offered a drink and a refreshing towel. The resort was so peaceful if you’re looking for a calm vacation this is the resort to book. The food here was amazing always cooked to perfection. The waiters were just so amazing made me sad to leave. They also have a gated alley way that leads straight into town! If your wanting to explore Costa Rica they offer amazing things such as tubing zip lining and hikes you do have to pay for it but there all worth it! They also take you in a shuttle to all these places so don’t worry about renting a car!!! We will definitely be coming back here:)"

Besonders geschätzt haben wir die Tipps zu Ausflügen und Restaurants, die uns Fredy gegeben hat. Wir kommen sicher gerne wieder, denn das Hotel ist ruhig und trotzdem sehr zentral gelegen. "

"Is a very nice resort, the buffet food had a good variety. They had fruit out at every meal. The staff was very helpful. We went to italian restaurant for one dinner, the food was excellent. The service was excellent there too. The check in and out was quick. Remember to drink water, it is very warm outside, especially when you are in sun. The beach was beautiful but it has a lot of large rocks. I am not a beach person but ocean views were spectacular. "

"The A/C worked really well and the rooms were perfect for our family of four. The shower worked great. Our favorite part was waking up in the morning to the patio table set for breakfast and a delicious, fresh meal made as soon as we came out. Our girls enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed that we could watch them from under the fan on our patio. This was a great spot with easy walking to restaurants and the beach too! "
