"My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. There is a restaurant, small bar and pool on site as well as short walking trail, hammocks and, since they are up on a hill, beautiful views of the valley below Aquara. "

"There was no place to check in. I went to the door that indicated it was a real estate office, which was the closest thing to an office. No one answered. Went three different times trying to get in. They have boarded windows. Never did see the inside of the place."

"Staying at La Terrazza was a great choice. The room was comfortable and warm (we had a couple of coolish nights), the bathroom was clean, the shower had lots of hot water and wonderful pressure and the kitchen had everything would we have liked to cook. The breakfast was great with the star being the home made apple cake with home grown apples and free range eggs from Pino's chickens.
