"My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. I appreciated being able to do my laundry easily with the machine in the garage and the estendal in the closet. It was very close to universidade do Açores, which we needed. But also close to other more tourist things like the seaside and the beautiful church. Really the only thing I didn’t like is the bathroom doesn’t have a fan for ventilation, but very small since you’re not in a bathroom for very long anyways."

"The property and hotel are situated close to the beach and Sunset Grill restaurant. It was clean and modern! The breakfast is delicious and brought to your room every morning. The staff was very helpful and provided information on itineraries for the day or suggestions on what to do! "Highly recommend this hotel. This hotel is well situated, about a 2 minute walk to center of town. Parking outside is metered from 8pm-7am, or hotel offers parking 10€ a day. Lot directly across the street is 6€ a day, or if you are ok to walk about 2 blocks- free parking on the street (ask hotel which streets, they will tell you) Clara, Tomas, Luis and Tugo really went above and beyond and help my cousin and I during our stay . Any time we needed assistance, they were happy to help us. We really appreciated the help with the room (Carla) help with the parking and restaurant suggestions (Tomas) lending an umbrella (Luis) help with drinks and poolside (Tugo) . Room was well appointed, as is normal for Europe, beds a slight bit stiff. Hair dryer great, shower water pressure great and warm. Had a refrigerator and safe. Windows looking out to the water (room 414) Floors set up interestingly- had to go up a flight of stairs to get to elevators - 4th on 2 different levels, split levels. Breakfast was excellent and well appointed. Plenty of food and options. They were great at refilling food. Spa was relaxing and very pretty. Suggestions for restaurants and sights:Recommend Cais da Sardinha , Bom Pesquiero for dinner, Tonys for traditional Cozidho (2pm 4pm seatings) go to Poca da Dona Beija for hot springs, dont waste your time at Terra Nosta. Overcrowding and lockers are nightmare. Worth seeing Vista do Rei, Boca do Inferno. Scuba, not the greatest visibility and water is cold."

"Raquel and the team are incredible! They corrected issues and errors expeditiously. The team took the time to acknowledge my friend and I celebrating our milestone birthday with a surprise. I literally called the front desk at any hour for help, thanks Jon, even arranging taxi rides when uber and bolt wouldn’t pick me up. It’s in the center of town. The only thing to know, is it’s located on a street that closes so taxi may not pick you up right in front. But it’s a very short walk to the main street. I love this place and plan to visit over and over again."

"This is an excellent hotel. We loved it. The facade looks old fashioned but it is modern inside. The room is large and super clean and most have balconies. It has a large pool and a huge pool area with loungers and tables. Breakfast is included and excellent. The staff is the best. Super nice and helpful. Maria called several restaurants for reservations and came out to the pool to inform us. Perfect central location."
