"We really loved our stay at Casale 1541! The family that runs the property is very helpful. The rooms are unique and well-equipped. The location is very close to the center of town and the lake. Really great restaurants in town too. Breakfast is also very nice."

"Beautiful place in a beautiful city! The grounds are so lovely and the staff so kind. The breakfast was delicious! If you don’t have a car, be prepared to call taxis as walking to town doesn’t really work. Great stay!"

"Quaint lovely hotel. The staff was kind and helpful. The location was perfect, with a view of the Duomo from my room. It was everything you’d expect from the description. If I ever find myself in the wonderful town of Orvieto, I would definitely stay there again. "

"Easily found hotel on the main road, therefore there is some traffic noise if you have a room at the front. Room was good, with a comfortable bed, and very clean. The lady and gentleman who checked us in/out were very friendly.
The walk into town from the hotel is doable and fairly level, where you can then take the funicular up to the old town (just beware it closes early - 7.30pm when we visited in October). "

"Staff/service was amazing. shower was also fantastic and the room was overall comfortable. Parking was okay, they gave a 24 hour day pass which was very generous, but the lot was filled up at the end of the day"

"Super unique and awesome experience staying here! The entire property and attention to detail is really special. Full breakfast in the garden. Very unique staying in this town overnight as all the tours leave and you are left nearly alone. Would highly recommend to everyone "
"This place was one of the highlights of our European vacation! Amazing Italian charm, beyond helpful and friendly owner, and little extras that made our stay very, very special. I highly recommend."
A unique luxury home, designer interiors, in a fairytale town
10/10 Excellent
"Three couples loved staying in this unique and chic dwelling. Well equipped kitchen, large gathering spaces, comfortable beds. It is a good uphill walk from parking lot to the apartment. The town is very quiet, but we found a good selection of restaurants . "
"Disappointing experience for us. House is moist, really strange lay-out. Low sealings in many rooms. Old furniture which is not comfortable. Bathroom dated, and not well maintained. Offensive art on the wall. Etc etc. on the plus, supporting staff really friendly. And location and view really nice."

8/10 Good
"Pros - Locations to restaurants and attractions were very good!Very clean apartment, beds were very comfortableIt is a large size apartment, with some cool featuresIt is located over a bar (see below con)ConIt is located over a bar , got very loud the last night. We could have used some paper towels, extra bath towel not just 2 towels. The 2nd bedroom had sliding door didn’t shut. There is a stained glass window that looks into neighboring apartment. The main bedroom is extremely dark even with lights on.We stayed 5 nights and it was 2 nights too long. Wish there was a drying rack for laundry. "
