Spacious clean room

This place is great. It's close to a metro station. The room is huge and includes a kitchen, a dining table and dishes if you like to cook on your vacation.

Good hotel near several attractions. A 20 minute walk to the city center. The staff was the best. Very friendly and welcoming.

We had a very warm welcome, Melo from the reception was super friendly and told us about all the visiting points and showed us pictures and all. Very helpful! Also, the fact that they use a password instead of a physical key is very convenient

It failed my white napkin wipe test for cleanliness. I got locked out coming back to the hotel on my first night because there's no 24-hour desk so to get in you need to use a code. My code is not work on the door locked. Fortunately a man came by and said there are two doors for this place are you sure that you're using the right door. It turned out that I needed the door on the right. The daytime desk man never explained that to me. I think maybe the lounge Inn door on the left is for the service personnel but I'm not sure what that door is for. The shower was great the mattress was adequate. It's very close to the metro stop and there are cafes around the square where the Metro stop is where I got coffee and food.

The Lounge Inn was absolutely amazing! From the unique rooms, to the cleanliness, to the staff, I can’t wait to go back. Melo, one of the managers, was the most amazing. We enjoyed some welcome drinks with him and he told us all about Porto and what to do! We didn’t have to make our own itinerary. 5/5 starts for Melo and the Lounge Inn!

Great Budget Stay

I had a good stay at this convenient and well priced property. The lady i dealt with during ny stay was fantastic - the only small negative is that reception was not open when it said it would be. A quick call to the number on the door led to the lady arriving a couple minutes afterwards to check me in etc.

This was my second visit to Lounge Inn - my first was 5 years ago. However it did not disappoint. The hotel is compact but had everything I required. The nearest Metro station is around the corner and it takes just a few minutes to get to Porto centre. The area is vibrant during the day, but safe and quiet at night. There are some good local dining options. The hotel manager, Melo, is very friendly and accommodating. I can highly recommend this hotel.

A little bit far from the main attractions in the city but I guess it is still okay for the price I paid. The area could get noisy in the mornings due to the traffic passing by in front of the property. The front desk staff was really helpful with some recommendations.

I would not recommend Lounge Inn while you stay in Porto, mainly because it's too far away from the historic center (4 metro stations). It is not possible to get the room before 2pm, because the receptionist is not there, even if you can leave your luggage while you get your room. The room was nice. Not completely clean (mold around the air conditioning).

Poor communication, great air conditioning

Firstly, we were very apprehensive as we made contact with the hotel well in advance to say we were going to arrive after the 6PM check-in window. We were told they would give us the key code and instructions for self check-in but despite emailing, comments via hotels.com we did not get a response. I ended up ringing 2 hours before our arrival and the lady responded to say she would email these across. Luckily we received instructions 40 minutes before arriving. We did not see anyone during our stay so apart from room service which happened (with clean towels each day & bed was made), the presence of management was non existent for us. The hotel was 30 minute walk from the river but close to a metro (€2.60). The walls were thin but air conditioning and black out curtains were fantastic. Black mould in shower area (and window from shower into room). Close to supermarket. I think nightclub next door has closed down so no real noise complaints for us.

No recomendado. Al llegar el señor de la recepción no sabía ni hablar en inglés ni en español algo que dificultó mucho la comunicación, luego tuvimos que dejar las maletas tiradas en un rincón ya que teníamos que ir a un tour y nadie estaba en el dichoso hotel. Al llegar en la noche nuevamente no había nadie en la recepción ya habían subido nuestras maletas. Al entrar a la habitación lo primero un olor a humedad terrible, la habitación demasiado pequeña, lo más aqueroso fue encontrar pelos largos en las almohadas y sangre en el cabecero de la cama y en las almohadas, el baño se notaba sucio y había un vaso con agua sucia. Al día siguiente no limpiaron nada solo te dieron la cama. Nunca había nadie en recepción para por lo menos pedir que limpiaran, tuvimos que comprar desinfectante y limpiar un poco ya que nos dio mucho asco, las toallas se notaban demasiado viejas y dudamos que estuvieran limpias según los acontecimientos. NO RECOMENDADO.
