"The resort community was great. It is sad to see abandoned golf resort buildings around the area. But the resort itself felt very safe. Despite no air conditioning, the combination of ocean breeze and ceiling fans were still great."

"We have stayed at the colony I at sea mountain in pahala twice. We absolutely love this place, the people are veey nice and make you feel at home. I love the privacy and how quite it is. Its also a 5 minute walk to the beach where you can see the green sea trutles."

"Everything was great. Good central location. Peaceful property. I only wish there were some pedestal fans. It got a bit warm at night. I loved eating breakfast on the lanai."

"Condo was great for where I needed to be for work. It was super quiet and the hot tub looks out over the ocean. The condo was well equipped with everything I needed."

"It was a perfect set up for our little family, however if your looking for something fancy or luxerulious I wouldn't necessarily recommend. Some of the furniture and appliances were outdated which was fine for us so we didn't have to stress about our young children ruining anything expensive. For the most part the place was quiet, if there is children or party people in the condo upstairs you can hear their footsteps. The shower was nicely tiled and large.The kitchen had everything we needed.There was a pack and play and towels included.There is not air conditioning, there was a couple large fans that we let up in front of the open windows. The pool is only a couple minute walk away, and the hot tub was so nice. However you have to drive down to punaluu black sands unless you want a long walk down a road.There is a older coin operated washer and dryer around the corner.All in all we would stay here again! "

"Wonderful place. Close to green and black beaches. Convenient to volcano park. Easy access and parking is close to the unit. Great landscape. landscape "

"Property was as described. We are from Kona and had a funeral to attended in Naalehu so it was easier for us to stay out there instead drive all the way back to Kona. Room had everything we needed. Only thing i recommend is getting better fans. It gets hot in the room at night while you trying to sleep. "
