"This lodge is amazing if you are exploring the National park. Its only about a mile from the enterance so you can get out early and beat the crowds. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was really good too. We really enjoyed our stay! "

"Jon was an excellent host. Property is 200 yards from a lightly traveled riad so very quiet. Surrounded by tropical forest only 1 mile from entrance to volcanoes national park and 25 minutes from Hilo. "This was our first time ever at a bed snd breakfast. I wasn't sure what to expect. I'd say Intimate would be a good word, and friendly. Laurie the owner welcomed us personally, and there were two other couples there. The morning communal breakfast gave us a taste of the local fruits and breads, all hand preparec. The room was comfortable and while there's no A/C, there was no need due to the local nighttime climate. It wasn't near the downtown district, but turned out to be a plus. If...

"Came here for mine and my wife’s honeymoon. It was our first time in Hawaii and we were blown away. Staff was wonderful, within walking distance to numerous restaurants and shopping area (also attached to rental car place so very convenient if you want to explore away from Waikiki area). Rooms were serviced daily and didn’t have complaints. Regardless where you stay there will be a cost, but I can’t recommend Prince Waikiki enough to those who are looking for a place to stay. "

"Absolutely beautiful. Staff is wonderful and friendly, super attentive. Beds were comfy and blankets soft. Spacious room with beautiful view. Only 2 complaints- the power went off in the early morning (5am) and was off for several hours. My family needs a fan to sleep so we all got an awful nights rest. I reached out and asked what was happening and it wasn’t until hours later that I got “we are sorry” Also, the surf lesson was a big disappointment. Very expensive and my son only got the try a wave 3-4 times. The shop tried to make it right (thank you!) but he wasn’t able to make it back for another lesson. Other than those two things, it was lovely. "
