Cottage on the Coosa! Lake Logan Martin!

Quiet little lake front Cottage on a dead end street with great water views from cozy screened in porch and 100’ of lake frontage with private floating dock during the summer. Propery also features a private boat ramp/launch. Perfect little getaway spot for the family or furnished monthly rental. Located on the Coosa River (Lake Logan Martin) also just minutes from a public ramp and swimming at Ten Island Historic Park on Lake Neely Henry.

30 minutes Talladega speedway, new Lincoln boat launch,Honda, Pell City, Gadsden, and Anniston.
1hr East of Birmingham
2hr West of Atlanta

The floating dock is homemade because the water fluctuates when Alabama Power generates water a few miles upstream. If you use the dock you are doing so at your own risk. You are welcome to put chairs at the end of the ramp and still be right next to the water. You can check the APShorline website for lake Neely Henry generator schedule. The water current can be strong. If you are planning on bringing your boat you are welcome to leave it in the water for your entire stay. Feel free to message me before booking with any questions or clarification .
I do normally pull the dock out when they lower the water for the winter around the end of October.
For stays longer than 1 week you will need to take trash to the free trash dump in Ragland open on Tuesday and Saturday I can give you more details after you book :)

Calm in a storm.
We bought a house in the area and rented this lake house to reside in while waiting for closing at the beginning of the business week. Unfortunately the closing took an additional 2 weeks. The host was totally accommodating to our situation and made a nerve wracking situation easier to tolerate. We are forever grateful. The cabin had anything you could need except ice. Bring a bag with you.

It was quiet. Didn’t have the amenities that were advertised. No hot tub or spa tub and no dock. Television didnt work since there was no wifi. Screen door leading to the porch did not latch or lock. No top sheet on bed. Need to have more cooking utensils. Pillows need to be replaced.

Graduation Season Retreat
The pictures do not do this property justice! This quant, rustic lake house is the perfect sanctuary for a family or a couple. We stayed for our daughter’s graduation weekend, and were so happy we did. From the amazing lake views, to the amenities, to the close proximity to everything, we will for sure be back and highly recommend this property to vacay or for any occasion stay.

Nice cabin in the woods and on the water.
The cabin was very clean. Loved having a boat launch right in front of us. Parking is tight when you have two 22’ bass boats, but we got it figured out. Not a bad drive into a small town. Loved the huge shade trees. Neighbors are very nice and friendly too.

Convenient and cozy cottage
Enjoyed our 3 night stay in this little cabin. Daniel was very responsive. We enjoyed sitting on the swing in the mornings looking at the Coosa River. Only suggestions would be new pillows for guests and replace the stove burners. Otherwise, no complaints. Hope to return next year. Thank you for sharing your place with us.
