"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. "We arrived a bit early and we’re not allowed to receive the Ticino Ticket until check in (barely an hour plus later), which would have saved us money we had to pay for Public Transport. To be fair, we were allowed to leave the bags in the office, so that at least helped. Not a bad walk to the train station; the bus station is across the street. AC system had to be restarted due to recent repair to a neighbor unit, but once it was up it worked like a charm!"
