"The experience was wonderful. The ambiance of the restored house with original hardwood and inlays, the attention to details in even the ceiling fixtures was a delight for the eyes. Likewise, having a hot meal daily between 8:30AM -10:30AM is worth another visit. In addition, learning about the historical facts about the property was insightful. Therefore, the Oaklawn Inn is excellent with a daily hot freshly cooked different meal served, great hospitality, and historical facts that will make anyone appreciate the Victorian Era. Stephanie was a wealth of knowledge a d qoukd gladly answer any questions we had!"

"My priority was that the room be quiet and it was. It was a double queen bed room on the 2nd floor on a Saturday night.. There was a refrigerator in the room; the bathroom was spotless and the beds very comfortable. I enjoyed a hot breakfast of eggs, ham and fried potatores and good coffee in the morning."
