James quickly offered us an alternative property (Blu Skibber). We stayed for one week in the first floor apartment which was fabulous. It was extremely well appointed, beautifully comfortable and very spacious, and even during 'lockdown', had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed breakfasts on our balcony. James was a perfect host helping us with storing our bikes (and other equipment) and suggesting local places to visit and eat at. The additional lengths they are going to to ensure the highest of cleanliness standards are being met during the current Covid pandemic are extraordinary and need our extra thanks and commendations. We cannot give enough praise and highly recommend a stay here. Inside the converted barn the kitchen and living area is ideal. The kitchen is fully equipped and I cooked most evenings. The barn is lovely and warm and has a relaxing feel. The bathroom was a great size and hot water plentiful. I slept peacefully and enjoyed s couple of early morning runs along the old mineral tramways now converted to bike and walking paths, which start just by the barns. I will definitely return again.
