Car Rental Arroyo Seco

Once you've been to all of the terrific attractions in Arroyo Seco, there's plenty more to explore in the region. Collect the keys to a rental car, stow your luggage in the trunk and get on the road. We've pulled together some road trips we think you'll enjoy:

• Oaxaca is 85 miles from Arroyo Seco. Well-known tourist spots like Zocalo Square should be high on your list while you're in town.
• Why not check out the wonders of San Pedro Pochutla too? Major tourist attractions in this buzzing city include Zipolite Beach. San Pedro Pochutla is about 45 miles from Arroyo Seco.
• Venture into the great outdoors and take in the serenity at Playa Revolcadero. You'll find it about 190 miles from Arroyo Seco.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Mexico, then it's likely you'll need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be at least 25 in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the rules and regulations before sliding behind the wheel. You typically can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or go off-roading with your rental car.
