“I stayed at Notto for my birthday on February 13, and my experience was positive at first. The room and stay itself were good, but unfortunately everything went downhill when I checked out. I was told there would be a 4,000 peso hold on my card for incidentals. Instead of placing a hold, they actually charged my card. It has now been almost three weeks, and the hotel has still not been able to reverse the charge. What’s even more concerning is that they asked me to send my bank account……

“We had a fabulous time at Tabachin and highly recommend staying here! It was very quiet and tucked away from the main strip which we really appreciated. It is within walking distance to Zicatela Beach and the large super market was only about 20 minutes' walk away. The rooms are big, airy and cool - wonderful escape from the heat in the afternoons. Our hosts were very helpful and informative. We'd definitely come again!”

“Our stay at Punta Magica was excellent. Alex is a super responsive host and so communication was also quick and easy. The villa is even better than the photos, and it was so nice having our own private little pool. It’s a short walk into the main area with restaurants and the beach, but we didn’t mind this as meant we got to see some of the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Puerto Escondido! ”
