Car Rental Bonanza

There's so much to do in Bonanza, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Book a set of wheels and you can explore the surrounding area at your own pace. Add these fantastic drives to your to-do list:

• Colima is roughly 40 miles from Bonanza. Popular sights like Colima Cathedral should be high on your list here.
• Next stop? It has to be Jocotepec, which is around 100 miles away. Monte Coxala Spa is one local highlight you won't want to miss.
• Get out into the outdoors and inhale the fresh air at Bay of Banderas. It's approximately 130 miles from Bonanza.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Mexico, then you may need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be allowed to rent a car. Please also consider that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some added requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be at least 25 in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to what kinds of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the rules and regulations before sliding behind the wheel. Usually, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or go off-roading with your rental car.
