Car Rental Jimo District

There's lots on offer in Jimo District, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Organize a set of wheels and you can cruise around the greater area at your own speed. Add these fantastic drives to your travel schedule:

• Yantai is roughly 70 miles from Jimo District. Well-known tourist spots like Golden Beach deserve to be high on your must-see list here.
• Your next pit stop? It has to be Weihai, which is around 100 miles away. International Bathing Beach is one local hot spot you really shouldn't miss.
• Spend time in the great outdoors and appreciate the serenity at Mount Tai. You'll find it roughly 190 miles from Jimo District.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in China, then you'll likely need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. Please also consider that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. A few other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to what kinds of cars you can rent.
