“We were a family of 3 and stayed in the bigger apartment. It was a wonderful, everything was brand new and clean, the pull out couch was made up for the night for my son, and we especially enjoyed the quiet, but yet very centrally located area in Riga. There are a few very good restaurants just around the corners from the aparthotel, better than the famed Milda Restaurant ( don’t waste your time going there). Overall, I would highly recommend booking a stay at the Carillon.”

“The host Margot’s is a very friendly guy. He was also very helpful in assisting me to find transportation to the apartment. The apartment has the feeling of home. It was wonderful to wake up to the singing of birds in the morning even though I am in the heart of the city. The bed was extremely comfortable which made me sleep very well during my entire stay. It will be perfect if there is air conditioning because all the windows in the rooms are facing the inside wall of the building where other apartments put their air conditioner. “Apartment Nr. 17 Aus dem Badezimmer strömte durchgehend ein unangenehmer Geruch und die Fugen in der Dusche waren schimmelig. Beides ist meines Erachtens auf die fehlende bzw. defekte Abluft im Bad zurückzuführen. Auch im Rest des Apartments fand sich - vor allem in den Ecken - viel Schmutz und immer wieder allerlei Haare. Das Überbett und der Matratzenbezug waren sauber, aber darunter fanden sich ebenfalls viele Haare und Schmutz. Ich habe mich den gesamten Aufenthalt über nicht wirklich wohl……
