We were able to cook full meals, have our own bathrooms, enjoy a nice fire with and a beautiful view. There were so many deer, we loved it. They would come right up to the steps. The inside was roomy and comfortable, but the outdoor features were exceptional; it had everything you would want for a mountain getaway with the amazing decks, fire pit, and hiking trails right off the property. "We had a great stay! We came to blowing rock to go to lunch with a friend of my wife and wanted to get out of town for a night. The chalet was very cozy and quaint. Also very clean. No AC in our chalet, but not needed since we were in the mountains. We slept with the windows open and beautiful mountain air as opposed to Charlotte with 100° temperatures. We’ll definitely be back."
